The Southampton Center, a new cultural organization at the Parrish Art Museum’s former site, on Jobs Lane in Southampton Village, N.Y., has hired Michele Thompson as its first director.
Ms. Thompson was most recently the director of the 92nd Street Y’s former location in Tribeca. Prior to that, she was the executive director of the Trisha Brown Dance Company. Mara Manus served as the launch director in developing the center with its board over the last two years.
